G. Elliott Morris is an American data journalist who was hired by ABC News in May 2023. He began his role as the editorial director of data analytics on June 26, 2023. In this position, he oversees the FiveThirtyEight brand, following the departure of Nate Silver. Prior to joining ABC News, Morris worked at The Economist, where he was a senior data journalist specializing in American politics and election forecasting.
