2 candidates made the runoff in this race which is nominally non-partisan. Ortiz Jones is a Democrat who ran for Congress and served in the Biden Administration. Pablos is a Republican with ties to Governor Greg Abbott.

San Antonio, like all large cities in Texas, is considered Democratic-leaning.

Polls close Saturday June 7.
