When Tumbles pays his loans off, will his net worth be greater than his poker losses?

Yes, his net worth will be greater 👑

No, his net poker losses will be greater 💀

Tumbles will not successfully pay off all of his loans (on time) 🪦

Only mana counts, not my $$$ net worth or my $$$ poker losses.

Current poker net losses: Ṁ54,651

Edit 2024/11/29: I must return 1.4 million mana to Manifold when I have enough to do so (there is no due date, I can't be late to repay it). It is not automatically included in the net worth listed on my profile, but I think it should factor into my net worth for the purposes of this market.

@traders I added an edit to the description to clear up an ambiguity that has come up. Let me know if you disagree with this clarification and feel the market should resolve only based on the number listed on my profile. I think my clarification is the most reasonable way to keep the market in line with prior expectations, but I'm fine with it either way, if there is strong disagreement I will find a mod to consult and defer to.

I mean, a loan is a loan is a loan.

Assuming you get to the stage where the Manifold loan is the only loan you have left, and it can never be late, what would the market odds be reflecting?

@Quroe at that point it would be pretty much guaranteed to resolve to the orange option unless something crazy happens like someone gifting me a couple million mana all at once

@Tumbles 1.4 billion? There isn't enough mana in the whole mana economy.

@nikki that says there is 187 billion in people's balances, right?

filled a Ṁ15 NO at 27% order

@Tumbles I think your reading is off my 3 orders of magnitude.

@Quroe oops, I'll fix my edit, every mention of billion by me today before this point should have been million 😅 slip of the brain

Granted, this is the order of magnitude of the loan, so I think @Tumbles 's point still stands.

Edit: I see what happened now. You corrected the description.

opened a Ṁ10 YES at 6% order

I WON 90K OFF @jim AND NOW I'M UP

ACTUAL BLACK SWAN EVENT

Update: Managrams/manalinks/bounties are being removed very soon, so my poker losses total will be unable to change moving forward

lol

If you do not manage to pay off your loan, does this market resolves NA, or will the remaining debt amount count as negative net worth/mana?

If your account shows negative mana balance after you pay off your loan, will that negative mana balance be used for resolution

@AmmonLam If I don't pay off my loans at all it resolves to the dark grey option. If you think I'll lose a lot of mana but aren't sure if I'll pay off my loans my thinking is you can bet NO on green

This market refers to net worth rather than balance, but yes negative numbers can be used. So if I actually ended up gaining 1000 mana overall from poker but had a net worth of -2000 then it would resolve to my poker losses being bigger than my net worth.
