Will someone at the 2025 Tour de France get 2 yellow cards and be removed from the race?

If you get two yellow cards in a single race, you're supposed to be kicked out of the race and suspended for 7 days. I think that is mainly for riders but if some kind of team staff got 2 yellow cards and was removed, that would also count for this market.

If someone gets 2 yellow cards and they stay in the race, that would not count. Or if someone got kicked out of the race but did not accumulate 2 yellow cards first, that also does not count.

@Eliza How does this market resolve if, say, Danny Van Poppel picks up a second yellow card on the Champs Elysses stage?

@RedzoneITG It looks like it only counts if he is removed from the race.

In the specific case of the final stage, it would be based on whether he is credited as a finisher in the final GC standings. If he was removed from the race, he would not be on the list. If he is listed as finishing 155th, then he was not kicked out (even if he got multiple yellow cards!).

However, Danny already left the race a couple days ago so you will have to hope for someone else to be a bad boy if you buy Yes.

@Eliza (I looked at this market a day or two ago and didnt feel like buying Yes or No. I feel there is still room for chaos!!!)

🚨 four riders already picked up yellow cards. One is Danny van Poppel who is no stranger to these. I'm buying a little more Yes now.

Exciting development, for the first time in history, a rider got 2 yellow cards in the same race and was removed from the race and suspended. This happened to Oscar Riesebeek of Alpecin-Deceuninck in the Baloise Belgium Tour.

Now that it's happened once, why not again!
