I saw you asking out of the blue what effect suicide would have on resolution, which struck me as a shocking and potentially community-guidelines-breaking comment to even make, and then when I saw that she answered it with actual conditional outcomes I got intensely worried that she might actually be contemplating (as I have in the past, my highest persistent rating on the scale would have been 8 a few years back). As I do when my friends and family hint at suicidal contemplation, I shared the suicide scale comic as a friendly yet precise way to gauge how bad it was, and was relieved to learn that she is not actually in danger.

Is the misunderstanding that my offer of "help" was interpreted as meaning "help to commit suicide"? That was absolutely not what I intended to convey, I meant it as in "help to survive the suicidal thoughts". I am terribly sorry for any offense caused to @typeofemale if that was indeed the misunderstanding, I have edited the comment to clarify.

If this is not the case, then please help me understand what I did wrong, so I can avoid causing any further harm :(
